Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with practical experience in gardening tasks. Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve gardens through planting, pruning, weeding.
- Operate hand tools such as secateurs, spades, and rakes to carry out gardening tasks effectively.
- Use power tools including hedge trimmers and lawn mowers for landscape maintenance.
- Ensure all garden areas are kept tidy, safe, and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
- Monitor plant health and identify issues related to pests or disease for prompt action.
- Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal planting schedules and garden layouts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, and power tools.
- Knowledge of plant care techniques and growing practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of garden presentation.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- A genuine interest in gardening and landscape aesthetics.
