Production Assistant – On-Farm Award-Winning Butchers/ Deli/ Hospitality Buisness
Working Days: Ideally Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and/or Friday
Hours: Flexible – full or half days depending on workload
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our on-farm Production team at our award-winning Farm shop/ production kitchen. You’ll be part of a hands-on, fast-paced environment where quality, consistency, and attention to detail are key.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing products by following recipes and ensuring consistent quality for the deli counter and trade customers
- Weighing, packaging, and pricing products accurately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Assisting with the care and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Keeping detailed records where required
- Managing your own workload and working independently
Additional Responsibilities (Production of food items for Hospitality business)
- Ordering and stock control
- Time management and daily planning
- Working independently with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred)
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above – desirable)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
