Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Lartington Hall. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are clean and presentable.
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms and public areas as necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a friendly manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required.
