We are looking to expand our team here at Secret Garden Day Nursery. We are a small privately managed nursery in a rural environment, where nature and the outdoors become children's natural habitat for playing and exploring.
Our pedagogical approach thrives on free flow and risky play where our attention focuses on the child's voice, respecting all children as valuable learners where their opinions always matter.
For this post we require candidates to hold at least a relevant Level 3 in Early years with a minimum of at least 1 year working with children in an early year’s environment. Paediatric first aid and basic safeguarding training is highly desirable but not essential. The candidate will need to have a basic knowledge of the EYFS and the Characteristics of effective Learning.
We look for practitioners who enjoy working as part of a team and are willing to do ongoing training for personal development.
We require candidates to have their own transport as we are set in the countryside.

Secret Garden nursery follows the Safer Recruitment Process where all successful applicants are required to complete an enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the online update service bureau.
All offers will be subject to two suitable references with one being from candidates most recent employment.
Secret Garden Nursery is open 8am-6pm all year round and we do not offer term time vacancies. We are looking for staff to work 3/4 days per week.
