Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated TEAM LEADER/DEPUTY MANAGER to provide essential support to children and their families within the community. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and promote well-being through personalised care plans. Responsibilities.
- Assist children with daily routines, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support children in engaging with educational activities and recreational pursuits.
- Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote social development.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals.
- Drive children to appointments, school, or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
- Monitor health and wellbeing, recognising any changes or concerns that may require escalation.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organised environment at all times.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a care or educational setting.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt as needed.
- Valid driving licence for safe transportation of children when necessary.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing.
- DRIVING essential to the role.
