Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef join our culinary team at our new venture within Castlerock Golf Club.
This role involves overseeing food preparation and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The Chef will play a vital role in establishing the restaurant's reputation for excellence and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience is essential; hospitality background preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism whilst serving customers directly when required
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
