Job Summary
Evoke Staffing are excited to announce, that one of our existing clients are seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 Trampers. This particular client is based in the Highbridge area, they work with well known established brands across the UK. For the successful candidate this has the opportunity to become long term, but at this point it is temporary to cover the busy periods.
The drivers we are looking to recruit need to be reliable and flexible with a good work attitude. You will be responsible for the delivering of goods into distribution centres across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 1 Trampers who don't mind nights away, up to 4/5 times a week.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 driver's license Digi and CPC
- Excellent driving skills with up to maximum 6 points
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Good communication and customer service skills
