About the Role
As a Data Technician Apprentice, you’ll support the coordination of projects by managing documentation, maintaining accurate data, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring projects are well organised, compliant, and running smoothly — all while developing practical, real-world skills.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Administration
- Input and manage data using spreadsheets and internal systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Assist with organising project documentation and files
Project Support
- Help prepare key documents such as risk assessments and method statements
- Support the planning of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Assist with compiling reports and documentation
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams and support communication with clients
- Help gather and organise information required for projects
- Support general coordination activities to keep projects running efficiently
General Support
- Assist with administrative tasks linked to project delivery
- Help with preparing documentation for invoicing and reporting
- Maintain organised systems and processes
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Interested in working with data and structured information
- Confident using IT systems (basic Excel knowledge is helpful)
- A clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
- Interested in project work, engineering, or construction environments
Requirements
- Basic IT skills (e.g. Excel or spreadsheets)
- Full UK driving licence (required)
