Job Overview:
To support Workpays internal quality assurance activities through a range of measures including (but not limited to) maintaining relationships with awarding organisations (AOs), monitoring the quality of tutor/assessor performance through sampling work practices, carrying out observations of teaching, learning and assessment, identifying common themes for improvement and facilitate staff development to maintain and improve the quality of all learner focused activities. The post holder will also ensure documents and other records meet quality and regulatory requirements, for example, maintaining up to date records of all aspects of internal quality assurance both online and paper-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
· To attend and support EQA visits and DC approvals and deputise in the absence of the Lead IQA on all EQA activities
· Report to the Director of Excellence
· Manage their IQA Caseload
· Support the development of tutors ensuring all have current occupational competency and ensure they meet audit and compliance requirements
· To conduct IQA observation of Tutors
· Feedback to tutors of formative/summative assessment/observations
· Ensure awarding organisation criteria/requirements are met
· Identify training/development needs of individual tutors and organisation wide tutor needs
· Support writing of curriculum content
· Mark written feedback given to learners by the tutors
· Liaise with Lead IQA to manage the standardisation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency of decisions and feedback between IQAs
· Support the creation and delivery of specific tutor training
· Promoting the vision, values and mission of Workpays
· Ensure effective communication between all teams/departments
· Attend and participate in team meetings
· Input into the SAR and QIP and other quality activities
· Engage with the line manager in regular appraisals and performance reviews against agreed targets and KPIs
· Meet KPIs and targets
· Own and manage your internal/external customers
· Responsible for actively identifying your own development needs
· Staff must take reasonable care and be aware of their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and ensure that agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors to any Workpays premises

Essential Criteria
- Functional Skills English and Maths L2 (or equivalent)
- Teaching / Training qualification - Cert Ed or equivalent (L4 or above)
- TAQA/CAVA/A1 or equivalent Assessor qualification
- D33/D34/V1 or equivalent Verifier qualification
