Overview
We are an established building company that manages and refurbishes our own residential property portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our company. The successful candidate will primarily carry out first and second fix carpentry and fire door installation, while supporting a variety of refurbishment projects.
Responsibilities
- Install fire door sets to a high standard and in accordance with current fire safety regulations.
- Carry out first fix and second fix carpentry.
- Complete a range of general carpentry and finishing work.
- Read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and building regulations.
- Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Work independently and as part of a team across multiple projects.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Carpenter.
- Proven experience installing fire door sets.
- Strong first fix and second fix carpentry experience.
- Own tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
