The opportunity
We're working with a market-leading independent estate agency in Dorchester to recruit an experienced Sales Manager. This is a key hire for someone who can lead from the front—driving instructions, developing a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional service to vendors and buyers.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the day-to-day performance of the residential sales team
- Driving new business through valuations, viewings and strong local networking
- Converting valuations into instructions and maximising market share
- Coaching and developing negotiators to consistently hit targets and KPIs
- Overseeing the pipeline from offer through to completion (with strong sales progression focus)
- Ensuring compliance and best practice across the branch
- Working closely with senior leadership to deliver growth plans and improve performance
What we're looking for
- Strong background in residential estate agency sales (Senior Negotiator / Assistant Manager / Sales Manager level)
- Proven record of winning instructions and delivering results
- Confident, hands-on leader who can motivate, coach and performance-manage
- Commercially minded with excellent local market awareness (Dorchester/Dorset ideal)
- Professional, polished communicator with a customer-first approach
- Full UK driving licence
