We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our delivery team.
Job Role:
You will be driving a Luton van to perform daily deliveries and collections. The role may involve loading and unloading goods, handling parcels and pallets, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and punctually. Experience with using a pump truck is preferred, or a willingness to learn is necessary.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience preferred
- No points on the licence
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Able to use GPS/maps and follow delivery instructions
- Good customer service attitude
- Physically fit for loading and unloading
- Pump truck experience preferred, but training can be given
- Must take care of the vehicle and report any issues
- Duties Include:
- Daily vehicle checks
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Delivering to customers/businesses on time
- Keeping delivery paperwork/proof of delivery updated
- Communicating with the office if there are delays or issues
- Keeping the van clean and tidy
Job Details:
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday
- Average 8–10 hours per day, depending on workload
