Contract Type: Freelance, Fixed Term Monday 16th November 2026 – Sunday 3rd January 2027
Due to the nature of this contract, successful applicants will be required to attend all dates stated in the attached schedule. Rest days are outlined in the schedule.
Hours: As per attached Pantomime Schedules and requirements of Job Description
Fee: £1250 weekly fee, plus £150.88 Holiday pay per week.
Subsistence in line with 2026 UK Theatre rates and Travel will also be payable if successful applicants address is further that 25 miles of the venue.
Location: Rehearsals will take place at Norwich Theatre Stage Two. Performances at Norwich Theatre Royal.

About the role
This role will provide Company Management duties for the rehearsals, pre-production, performances of the Pantomime production. It will act as the on-the-ground contact for day-to-day operational matters with specific emphasis on key areas such as performer well-being, operational and personnel performance and press and PR activity.
About you
With demonstrable experience working as a Company or Stage Manager, you will have working knowledge of the functions and capabilities of production systems, experience of running rehearsal rooms and tech, and have strong team & communication skills. You will have extensive knowledge of relevant Equity / Musician’s Union / BECTU agreements and guidelines. You will also be able to work flexibility, with varied hours as documented the in schedule.
