We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team at our beautiful boutique hotel on the Isle of Skye.
This is a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on bar service, guest service, and hotel reception duties. The successful candidate will play an important part in delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Serving drinks and assisting with the day-to-day running of the bar
- Providing excellent customer service to hotel and restaurant guests
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel
- Handling reservations and guest enquiries
- Assisting with food service when required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel
- Supporting the wider team across all areas of the operation
About You
- Previous hospitality, bar, restaurant, or hotel experience is preferred
- Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well-presented and reliable
- Able to work as part of a team and use initiative when working independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
