ZEN Educate is looking for confident, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Newcastle and North Tyneside.

No formal teaching qualification is required – just the confidence to lead a classroom and a passion for supporting young people.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes across a range of secondary school subjects using pre-set lesson plans.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Encourage pupil participation and engagement in learning.
- Provide support and guidance to students where needed.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
- Adapt to different schools and year groups with confidence and professionalism.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
