As an Electrical Fitter, you would be primarily responsible with installation, construction, maintenance and repair of HV switchgear and automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- HV inspections and maintenance of DNO, (i)DNO and private network switchgear sites
- Installation of switchgear, transformers, actuators and RTU’s for DNO, (i)DNO and private network sites
- FPI replacements
- Substation earthing and wiring

Qualifications and attributes
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Completed apprenticeship or equivalent training for Electrical Fitting on HV distribution networks
- City and Guilds in Electrical Principles or relevant electrical qualification
- DNO / (i)DNO Qualifications, ie;
- Access and Supervision in locations with level 3 Security
- HV electrical authorisations for construction, installation and/or maintenance works
- Previous experience of HV Electrical Fitting works on DNO (i)DNO or private distribution networks, to include installation, construction and/or maintenance works
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Access and supervision in locations with level 3 security
- HV electrical authorisations for construction, installation and maintenance works
- Previous experience of EHV Electrical Fitting works on DNO (i)DNO or private distribution networks, including installation, construction and/or maintenance works.
