Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Equestrian Groom to join our team at a Dallamires stables. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of horses and stables, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about horses, with a focus on maintaining the overall wellbeing of our equine residents. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within a professional equestrian setting.
Responsibilities
- Grooming horses
- Feeding and watering horses according to specific dietary requirements
- Mucking out and cleaning of yards, and surrounding areas to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met
- poo picking
- Maintaining equipment such as grooming tools, tack, and stable supplies
- lifting of feed bags, bedding materials, or equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience with horses is a must.
- well organised, able to work well as a team aswell as sole care.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in equestrian care unfortunately the position doesn’t include riding. All positions are paid, reflecting the importance of your contribution to our team.
