We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-In Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home care and support within the Banchory, Tarland and Alford areas . The successful candidates will support clients with their daily needs, personal care , household tasks , community-based activities ensuring their comfort, safety, wellbeing is always adhered to and is in line with the clients individualised assessments and care /support plan . Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and grooming
- Support with medication administration following prescribed medication guidelines
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Assist with mobility, moving and positioning and using tailored mobility equipment
- Manage behavioural challenges associated with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive conditions
- Maintain accurate records of care/Support provided and any changes in health needs
- Support clients with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organising their living space
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous care sector experience preferred but not essential as full training and mentoring will be provided .
- Valid driving licence preferred but not essential
- SVQ 2 or willingness to gain qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
- Ability to perform moving and positioning tasks
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required for live-in arrangements
