We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teachers to join our local schools in Keynsham area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. This role involves educating children in foundational subjects while promoting their social, emotional, and academic development. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of early childhood education principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Educate students in core subjects such as mathematics, literacy, science, and social studies.
- Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their learning journey.
- Create a nurturing environment that encourages students to express themselves and develop confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements:
- QTS and relevant teaching qualification
- Confidence in delivering lessons
- Good with classroom management and able to tackle behaviours commonly seen when it comes to supply teaching
- Good communication skills and able to handle your calendar effectively
- DBS on the update service is required to work with children so you can either have one already to hand or be willing to apply for a new one.
