Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hairdresser to join our vibrantEbony Ambassadors Innovative Pageant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hairstyling and hair braiding, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Duties
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and braiding.
- Offer additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and advising on suitable styles and treatments.
- Upsell products and services to maximise client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior staff, apprentices and contestants, sharing expertise in hairdressing techniques and customer care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Store management duties including stock replenishment and inventory control.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skills in store management, including stock control and organisational tasks.
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other specialised beauty treatments is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Experience in upselling products or services to enhance client experience and salon profitability.
- Mentoring skills to support junior team members’ development.
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety standards. Pay: £24,420.00-£51,950.37 per year
