We are getting geared up for another busy lake district summer, and we are looking to add another café chef to our kitchen team!
About the Kitchen:
The kitchen will have a team of four chefs, the Head Chef, Sous Chef, Cafe Chef and Baker. Everything that we serve is made in our kitchen, using our recipes, from Scones, Cakes, Bakes, Main Meals, Specials, and Deli items. The Cafe proudly boats a 5 star EHO rating, which we expect to be maintained, and this will partly be down to the cleaning schedules being followed by the kitchen team. As assistant chef, you would be expected to take control of the kitchen on the head chefs days off and holidays.
The Role:
As Cafe Chef, we would expect you to work closely with the head chef to complete the day to day running of the kitchen and Bakery, from baking the cakes and scones, morning prep, running the pass, helping during service, cleaning down at the end of service, controlling stock and ordering appropriately. Baking experience is preferred but not essential. . The role is 40 hours per week, working any 5 days from 7. You would be expected to work weekends and bank holidays.

Transport can be provided from Backbarrow to Grizedale.
Salary;
Up to £30,000 per annum. Salary is dependant on age and experience.
