Complex Care Support Worker | Middlesbrough

We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Female Complex Care Support Workers to join a specialist 24/7 team in the Middlesbrough area. You will be supporting a female with a brain injury within her own home, ensuring she receives the highest standard of clinical care and emotional support.
Note: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1—Occupational Requirements, where it is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim to recruit female staff only for this specific package of care.
The Care Package
Our client has specific clinical needs that require attentive, high-quality support:
- Tracheostomy Care: Management and monitoring.
- PEG Feeding: Nutritional support and medication administration.
- Brain Injury Support: Assisting with cognitive needs, rehabilitation exercises, and daily living.
Shift Patterns & Team Structure
We provide round-the-clock care to ensure our client’s safety and well-being:
- Days (8am – 8pm): Working as part of a 2:1 team (Double-up support).
- Days (8am – 11pm): Working as part of a 2:1 team (Double-up support).
- Nights (8pm – 8am): Working on a 1:1 basis (Waking nights).

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in complex care (specifically Tracheostomy and PEG) is highly desirable, though specialist training will be provided for the right candidates.
- Reliability: Our client depends on a consistent team; punctuality and commitment are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English for accurate clinical logging.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for an individual with a brain injury.

- Middlesbrough, Teesside. (Please ensure you can reliably commute to this area for 12-hour shifts).
