ProRecta Clinic (Haemorrhoid Centre) specialises in non-surgical electrotherapy for haemorrhoids. We are seeking a Nurse or a Surgical nurse to assist and help doctor to perform treatment. Clinic runs on clients bookings basis. Right now doctor performs this procedure on Mondays every other week between 12PM and 16PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage room during treatment
- Provide doctor a hand on request, provide items that he requests
- Set up room for treatment during consultation: prepare equipment, lube and consumables
- Dispose consumables to bin, return treatment room to pre-treatment condition
Essential Requirements
- Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
- Medical indemnity suitable for private practice.
- Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain).
- Confident with anorectal assessment; excellent communication and bedside manner.
- Strong documentation discipline and adherence to clinical governance.
Desirable Experience
- Prior experience in haemorrhoid management (e.g., banding, sclerotherapy, electrotherapy) or colorectal outpatient work.
