Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pharmacy Dispenser to join our busy healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and delivering excellent patient care while contributing to the smooth running of the dispensary.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with prior experience working as a pharmacy dispenser. A recognised qualification or certification in pharmacy assistance, such as an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Provide a high standard of customer service to patients and customers
- Assist with the receipt, storage, and management of stock
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised dispensary environment
- Support the pharmacist and wider team with day-to-day operations
- Handle patient queries and refer to the pharmacist when necessary
