Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dry Cleaning Assistant to join our professional team. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of our dry cleaning facility, ensuring garments are handled with care and processed efficiently. Previous experience is considered a valuable asset, reflecting a background in customer service and attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where organisation and reliability are essential.
Duties
- Greet customers, receive their garments, take their information and store in the relevant area.
- Take payments and retrieve customers garments.
- Operate dry cleaning equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Organise garments by type and cleaning requirements, maintaining accurate records
- Support the loading and unloading of laundry machines, ensuring proper handling of delicate items
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work area to uphold health and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries courteously and professionally
- Assist with inventory management, including stock levels of cleaning supplies and packaging materials
- Previous experience in a hotel environment or similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with laundry or dry cleaning processes is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
