Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of laundry for the staff on the shop floor. This position is temporary for 6-10 weeks.
Duties
- Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment efficiently and safely
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items including linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Monitoring when overalls come to end of life and reporting to purchasing when new are required.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- MUST be able to use sewing machine to do small repairs as and when needed
- Keep work areas clean and tidy, adhering to hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Applicants are required to work 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
