Cook Required – Busy Coffee Shop
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cook to join our busy coffee shop team.
Hours:
5 days in 7 on a 4 week rota 7:30am – 1:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking daily specials
- Making fresh soups and other menu items
- General food preparation for daily service
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed at all times
- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Preparing & working with others replenishing stock orders
Requirements:
- Previous cooking & kitchen experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Food Hygiene Certificate desirable but not essential

Williamsons Coffee Shop situated within our Garden Centre is looking for an experianced Cook to prepare delicious food, must be able to deliver well-prepared food, deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking.
Day time hours aprox 7.30am-1.30pm
The goal is to work closely with our other full time kitchen team help preserve and enhance our reputation and expand our clientele.
Responsibilities
· Cook Coffee shop food in various utensils or grills
· Ensure great presentation by dressing food dishes before they are served
· Prepare (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, making soup etc.)
· Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
· Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
· Check quality of ingredients
· Monitor stock and place orders
· Filling control sheets and performing cleaning down duties
Requirements
· Proven experience in a kitchen
· Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
· Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
· Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
· A food hygiene qualification would be prefered
· Ability to work in a busy team
· Very good communication skills
