The Role
As a Room Leader, you will lead the day-to-day running of your room while ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting practitioners within your room
- Planning and delivering activities in line with EYFS
- Monitoring children’s development and learning journeys
- Creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Supporting staff development and maintaining high standards of practice
- Ensuring safeguarding and nursery policies are followed at all times
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous nursery experience
- Experience supporting or leading a team (preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Passion for early years education
