The successful candidate will be required to ensure that all areas of the home are clean, tidy and presentable, guaranteeing the comfort and wellbeing of Service Users in accordance with generic cleaning schedules and to ensure the Home is of the highest standard of cleanliness at all times and to respect the dignity, privacy and independence of our clients at all times.
* To clean toilets, pipework, handrails, any marks off walls and doors and all floors daily.
* To ensure fresh linen is placed in all rooms daily
* To ensure all beds are refreshed and made daily
* To clean all bathrooms daily, to the highest standard
* To vacuum, dust and clean lounges daily
* To vacuum, dust and clean corridors daily
* To empty and clean bins in all areas daily
* To collect dirty washing from rooms and deliver to laundry
* To report to Senior staff if any client gives cause for concern
* To maintain confidentiality, privacy and dignity of clients at all times
* To maintain good relationships with colleagues, clients, relatives/carers and all professionals involved in client care
* To act in a manner, which is courteous, polite, friendly and considerate at all times.
* To assist in making clients welcome in the Home and helping prior to admissions by ensuring rooms are clean and tidy
* To be aware of how equipment works/ to report any faults that are found
* To keep the home clean, tidy and safe
* To respect all property within the Home
The successful candidate must be:
- Passionate about cleaning to a high standard
- Adapt at learning new skills and improving current ones
- Flexible to work shifts which will include Weekdays and Weekends
- Cleaning qualifications are preferred

7am - 2pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.30 per hour
