We are currently looking for a sharp, reliable, and professional team of Car Park Marshals to join us on-site for this exciting outdoor festival in Lowestoft.
The Role
As a Car Park Marshal, you are the crucial first and last impression for thousands of festival attendees. Working as part of a high-performing team, you will ensure a seamless, safe, and professional arrival and departure experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Traffic Flow Management: Securely direct and manage vehicle movements within the event car parks to prevent congestion.
- Digital Check-Ins: Utilise handheld scanning technology to scan barcodes and accurately verify vehicle registrations and pre-booked tickets.
- Transactions: Occasionally handle secure card or cash payment processing for on-the-day arrivals.
- Customer Service: Act as a friendly, visible point of contact for guests, providing clear directions and site information with a proactive, positive attitude.
Shift Details & Flexibility
- High Flexibility: You choose the days you want to work! Simply provide us with your availability and we will match you with suitable shifts across the week (July 20th – July 27th).
- Robust Hours: Shift lengths range from 8 to 16 hours per day depending on the event schedule—perfect for stacking up serious hours during the summer festival peak.
- Options Available: Both weekday and weekend shifts are available.
What We Are Looking For

- Attributes: Punctual, highly reliable, resilient, and possess a proactive work ethic.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working on your feet and outdoors in all British weather conditions (sun cream or rain jacket ready!).
- Communication: Excellent customer service skills with a neat, professional appearance.
- Experience: Previous experience in events, festivals, ticketing, stewarding, or hospitality is highly desirable, though not essential.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 or over due to on-site health and safety regulations.
Mandatory Compliance & Right to Work

- You must possess and present a valid photographic ID (Passport, UK Driving License, or Share Code/BRP) at your induction to pass our mandatory Right to Work (RTW) check.
- Roster placement is strictly conditional upon passing this verification step and completing our brief skills assessment. No ID, no deployment.
