Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Preschool Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about early childhood education and childcare management to make a positive impact on children's lives. This role is term time only, 9am-3.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation among preschool children.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behaviour, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
- Support colleagues in implementing the curriculum and organisational policies.
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices, including behaviour management and hygiene standards.
- Assist with organising daily routines such as snack times, rest periods, and transitions between activities.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the preschool programme by sharing innovative ideas and best practices.
Requirements
- recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or preschool setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood learning strategies.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
- Passionate about working with children, with patience, empathy, and organisational skills to help manage a busy preschool environment effectively.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
