The Role
We're looking for an experienced butcher to join a team that cares about quality. You'll prepare products to customer and company specification, deliver knowledgeable service, and play a key part in the day-to-day running of a busy butchery counter.
Pay rate: £13.15 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a range of cuts to customer and company specification

Greet and serve customers, sharing product knowledge to help them get the most from their purchase

Prepare and maintain the counter and pre-pack areas to the highest hygiene standards

Carry out stock rotation and product sampling

Receive deliveries and complete the required paperwork

Distribute special offer materials and support general store operations

Provide cover and support for the store manager when required
The Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on experience in a retail butchery environment is essential

A track record of excellent customer service and a drive to meet sales targets

Sound knowledge of legal requirements and procedures relevant to butchery

Experience supporting and training new team members

Confident acting up in a supervisory capacity when required

Flexible, deadline-focused and able to perform well under pressure

A strong communicator who can work independently
