Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Labourer to assist with a variety of construction, maintenance, and general labouring tasks. The successful candidate will support skilled tradespeople, operate basic tools and equipment, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist skilled tradespeople with daily work activities.
· Carry out general labouring duties, including lifting, loading, and moving materials.
· Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
· Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring they are clean and organised.
· Assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
· Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
· Report any equipment faults, hazards, or incidents to supervisors.
· Support site operations as required to meet project deadlines.
· Handle and store materials and equipment correctly.
Requirements
· Previous experience in a labouring, construction, manufacturing, or maintenance environment preferred.
· Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
· Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
· Awareness of workplace health and safety practices.
· Relevant site certifications (e.g., CSCS card) desirable but not essential.
