Job Overview
I'm looking to hire a quartz worktop installer to help with installing between 1 and 3 kitchen worktops per day. The majority of jobs with be Quartz but with some Dekton jobs as well.
This is a self employed role and the successful candidate would need to register with CIS at some point.
I travel from Twickenham to Basingstoke in the morning to collect the jobs for the day. So ideally I would need to collect you from the Twickenham area around 6.15am -6.30am.
Pay is good. If we install 1 job for day, the minimum pay would be £90.00. 2 jobs would be minimum £150.00 and 3 jobs minimum £200.00. There is potential to earn more bit it depends on the specifics of the jobs.
I try to be able to provide work everyday but sometimes this isn't possible. Ideally I'm after someone who is available to work everyday but also happy to speak to anyone who is looking for more of a casual/part time role.
Your tax would be paid by the company but you would need to pay your own national insurance when filing a self assessment.
Responsibilities
- Install worktops securely in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas, ensuring alignment and stability.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying necessary adhesives or sealants
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project phase
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in solid surface worktops installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for installation tasks.
- Good physical fitness to handle heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A CSCS card would also be helpful but not essential.
- Reliability is the most important thing.
