Registered Manager – Adult Supported Living (Reading)

We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring Registered Manager to launch and lead our brand-new Adult Supported Living service in Reading. This is a unique opportunity to shape the service from the very beginning, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex care requirements to live fulfilled, independent lives.
As the Registered Manager, you’ll be CQC-registered and take overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and quality of the service. You’ll create a supportive, empowering culture where both staff and the people we support can thrive.
What you’ll do
- Provide strong, visible leadership to a dedicated care team.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding duties, and the Health and Social Care Act.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, fostering a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Oversee personalised care and support plans, ensuring they reflect individual needs and aspirations.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to deliver safe, consistent care.
- Build positive relationships with families, local authorities, health professionals, and the wider community.
- Lead on CQC inspections, striving for “Good” or above in all areas.
- Drive continuous improvement through robust systems and quality assurance.
What we’re looking for
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or working towards).
- At least 2 years’ management experience in adult social care, supported living, or a related service.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and best practice in adult care.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A positive, empowering approach to supporting independence, dignity, and choice.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: £32,500.00-£37,500.00 per year
