The hours for this position are 7.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
It is a 38.75 hour working week
There is a 45-minute lunch break with two 15-minute breaks morning and afternoon
The rate of pay is £13.60 per hour over time rate £16.74
Our client is seeking a Sideloader Driver and must have a current C1 (up to 5 ton) side loader licence.
The role will be temp to perm.

Overall, Purpose of Side Loader Driver/Packing and Picking/Engineered Timber Dept
Operative:
The Operative is responsible for assisting the Order Pickers & packing finished goods. The Operative ensures that all goods and services are picked and produced safely and efficiently; that they are of the right quality and quantity and that they are handled, picked and produced on time, to the satisfaction of the customer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Using Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) to handle goods and load and unload vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all training and legislative rules at all times.
- Making sure that products are produced/packed on time and are of good quality
- Ensuring quality standards are adhered to when performing packing.
- Ensuring all relevant machinery is correctly maintained and is in good working order
- Monitoring product standards and assisting management with implementing quality-control programmes
- Working with managers and supervisors to implement the company's policies and goals
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Assisting with Engineered Timber Department duties
- Assisting the Production Manager and supervisors in all aspects of operations

The Production Department Side Loader Driver/Packing and Picking/Engineered Timber Dept Operative will be required to work additional hours upon request to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
