Enfys Care is a growing, values-driven provider of children’s residential care, committed to delivering high-quality, neuro-affirming, child-centred support. We operate a solo-placement model, ensuring each young person receives the time, care, and attention they deserve.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to help lead our homes, support staff development, and ensure outstanding care for the young people we support.

About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance.
You will help create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where young people can thrive, while also supporting the Registered Manager with quality assurance, audits, and service development.

What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership & Team Support
- Lead shifts and support Residential Support Workers on a day-to-day basis
- Mentor and develop staff to deliver high-quality care
- Promote a positive, professional, and supportive team culture
Safeguarding & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with RISCA 2016 and CIW regulations
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and respond appropriately to concerns
- Implement and follow all policies and procedures
Supporting Young People
- Provide direct support to children and young people in daily routines
- Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and key work sessions
- Ensure young people’s voices are heard and respected
Operations & Quality Assurance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement
- Help ensure the home is safe, welcoming, and well-managed
Multi-Agency Working
- Work closely with social workers, families, and professionals
- Attend meetings and contribute to care reviews
Who we’re looking for:
Essential:
- QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare
- Experience in a children’s residential care setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Knowledge of RISCA and CIW requirements
- Confident leadership and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Must have a Valid UK Driving licence
