The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency enhances and improves the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines (including biological medicines), medical devices and blood products underpinned by science and research.
The agency is made up of c.1400 staff working across two main centres in Canary Wharf, London and South Mimms, Hertfordshire and peripatetically across the UK and abroad. This new role is part of the People team, but will work extremely closely with delivery Groups
The agency consists of Corporate, Partnerships, Transformation, Governance, Communications & Engagement, Scientific Research & Innovation, Healthcare Quality & Access, Safety & Surveillance and Technology groups.
About the Group and Function
The People function is part of the Corporate Group, along with Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure and Laboratory Services functions which are led by the Chief Finance Officer.
The Agencys People function has a headcount of 35 staff and is led by the Chief People Officer, who is a member of the Unitary Board.
