Job Overview
Simple Settings Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead our Ofsted-rated Good residential children’s home in Camberley.
This is a key leadership role requiring a strong, experienced professional with a proven track record in managing children’s residential services.
You will be responsible for the overall management, safeguarding, compliance, and performance of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager and maintain full regulatory compliance
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare of young people is always prioritised
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care for children
- Develop, lead, and inspire a stable and effective staff team
- Monitor and improve care standards in line with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively
- Build strong partnerships with local authorities, social workers, health professionals, and families
- Drive continuous improvement and positive inspection outcomes
Essential Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Significant experience managing a children’s residential home or minimum or at least two years’ experience as a Deputy Manager with the ambition and readiness to step into the Registered Manager role
- Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks
- Proven leadership, staff management, and team development experience
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and decision-making ability
- Excellent organisational, communication, and report-writing skills
