The Role
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator to join our growing team. You will support children’s learning through high-quality play experiences, respond sensitively to their interests, and use in the moment observations to extend learning as it happens. The role requires genuine enthusiasm for outdoor learning, as we make extensive use of nature, outdoor play spaces and real-world exploration.
What We’re Looking For
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Are passionate about child-led learning and open-ended play
- Understand or have experience with Planning in the Moment, Reggio-inspired environments, or the Curiosity Approach (training will be provided)
- Value outdoor play in all seasons and see nature as a vital learning environment
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Can create enabling environments rich in loose parts, sensory experiences and natural materials
- Are reflective, proactive and excited to contribute to high-quality practice
- Hold an Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)
Key Responsibilities
- Support child-initiated learning indoors and outdoors
- Observe in real time and extend learning through skilled interactions
- Contribute to an environment that fosters independence, collaboration and creativity
- Work closely with families to nurture each child’s development
- Promote curiosity, resilience and a lifelong love of learning
- Ensure safeguarding, EYFS and nursery policies are upheld to a high standard

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
