We are looking for a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team at Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across the hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience at all times.
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of housekeeping staff, helping to drive consistency, efficiency, and pride in their work. You’ll be responsible for allocating daily tasks, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring all rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise workflow.
- Address guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth hotel operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping services, previous supervisory experience is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hospitality environments.
- Hospitality experience is essential, along with familiarity with hotel management systems.
