Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor for our Café and Ice Cream Parlour. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food preparation and service. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.The ability to speak Welsh is essential!!!
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the team during shifts to ensure smooth operation of the café and ice cream parlour
- Ability to prepare light meals quickly and effeciently
- Manage customer orders efficiently, providing excellent service and resolving any issues promptly
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the premises
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee daily financial reconciliation
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guestsSkills
- Strong team management and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Experience in serving customers efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills to motivate staff and interact with customers confidently
- Previous experience in barista roles is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure while ensuring high-quality service standards
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
