Job Description:
As a Slinger Banksman / Traffic Marshall, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe movement of vehicles and machinery on site. You will be responsible for guiding crane operations, managing traffic flow, and maintaining a safe working environment on a busy construction site in Exeter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and guide crane operations safely as a Slinger Banksman
- Control traffic and vehicle movements on-site as a Traffic Marshall
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of lifting equipment
- Communicate effectively with site personnel and management
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and lifting operations
Requirements:
- Valid Slinger Banksman and Traffic Marshall certification
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
