The Role:
A lovely one form entry primary school in Brent, near Neasden, is looking for a Year 1 teacher for a maternity cover to join their small and friendly team from January. The school are keen to have someone until at least July, with the possibility to stay at the school until December 2024 (though this is not a requirement).
The school are looking for an experienced and passionate KS1 teacher, with a solid knowledge of phonics. You will work closely with a supportive SLT to provide an enriching atmosphere for students.
This school and experienced headteacher will provide you with excellent opportunities for professional development, as well as opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates. Pay is to scale, and Zen will always endeavour to match any pay expectations if you can impress during a paid trial, which the school is more than happy to arrange to give you a real taste. The school is dynamic and expanding, and there’s a real culture of excellence and ambition to achieve the best results for the children. Hours are 8.30am-4pm.

- Have QTS and completed their ECT
