KS2 Teacher – Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and high-performing primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated teacher to deliver engaging lessons, drive pupil progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced Primary Teachers looking to develop their career within Key Stage 2.
KS2 Teacher – Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
- Support pupil progress, attainment, and achievement across Key Stage 2
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management
- Use assessment for learning to track and improve outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
KS2 Teacher – Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2)
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
