Kitchen Porter (Part-Time) Sofia's & The Olive Grove, Hunstanton
Due to the continued success and growth of Sofia's and The Olive Grove, we're looking to expand our kitchen team by recruiting an additional Kitchen Porter.
Our two popular venues are busier than ever, and we're looking for someone reliable and hardworking to help support our chefs during our busiest periods.
Location: Hunstanton
Hours: Initially 10 hours per week
Typical Shifts: Friday and Saturday evenings, with the opportunity for additional hours as the business continues to grow.
About the Role
As Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in keeping our kitchens running smoothly. Whether you're looking for your first role in hospitality or already have experience, full training will be provided for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Operating the commercial dishwasher
- Keeping the kitchen, pot wash and food preparation areas clean and organised
- Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Unloading and putting away deliveries
- Managing waste and ensuring bins are emptied correctly
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
