Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Previous experience in cleaning or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, laboratories and communal areas to high standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Prior experience in cleaning or customer service is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
This is evening working role with core hours of 6am - 2.30pm Saturday and Sunday. but some flexibility is required to support absences.
