Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PART TIME Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and early childhood education to children in a nurturing and safe environment. This role requires strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine passion for working with children. The Nursery Practitioner will play a vital part in supporting children's development, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring compliance with all safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive nursery environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Lead by example in implementing best practices in childcare and early childhood education.
- Assist with daily nursery routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the organisation's management team by supporting team development initiatives.
Experience
- Previous nursery or childcare experience is essential, ideally within early childhood education settings.
- Proven management or leadership experience within childcare environments is desirable.
- Working with children requires patience, creativity, and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies is required.
- Familiarity with early childhood development frameworks is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
