About the Location
Right at Home Tyneside is looking for Care Assistants available to work across various Newcastle upon Tyne areas including:
West Denton, Chapel House, Chapel Park, Lemington, Throckley, Westerhope, Walbottle, Fawdon, Kenton, Montagu, Jesmond, Blakelaw, Gosforth, Regent Centre, West Jesmond, Newburn and Kingston Park.
About the Role
We provide care and support to older people and adults with physical and learning disabilities. Duties may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
- Preparing meals of choice
- Assisting with general household tasks
- Supporting clients on social visits and days out
- Encouraging independence and wellbeing
- Prompting or administering medication at the appropriate time

About You
If you have previous experience as a Care Assistant, HCA, Support Worker or Carer, we would love to hear from you. However, no previous care experience is required as full training is provided.
We also encourage applications from people working in retail, hospitality, customer service or other sectors, as well as those with lived experience caring for family members or loved ones.
