The Job:
We’re looking for a General Farm Worker to join a busy agricultural business. This is a hands on role covering a mix of crop work, livestock support and general farm maintenance.
You’ll be working outdoors as part of a team, helping keep day to day operations running smoothly and safely throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- General farm work as directed by the Farm Manager/Foreman
- Crop work including planting, cultivation and harvest
- Livestock care where required (feeding, bedding, welfare checks)
- Operate and maintain farm machinery safely
- Basic repairs and general site maintenance
- Monitor crops and report pests/disease
- Support seasonal peak workloads
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures

The Candidate:
- Experience in farming, agriculture or outdoor manual work
- Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all conditions
- Machinery experience desirable (tractors/farm equipment)
- Tickets (telehandler, forklift, spraying) beneficial
- Basic maintenance/mechanical skills useful
- Reliable, practical and a team player
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible during busy seasonal periods
The Package:
- Salary £29,000 - £32,500 DOE
- Full-time, permanent role

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
